Predstavitev
V današnjem svetu smo žal priča povečanemu nasilju zaradi rasne, etične, verske nestrpnosti ali preprosto kot posledica vsakodnevnega ustrahovanja na delovnem mestu ali v šoli
Verjamemo, da je tovrstne incidente mogoče preprečiti ter zmanjšati število žrtev s pravilnim ozaveščanjem in izobraževanjem, kako se na takšne dogodke učinkovito in pravilno odzvati.
ERAC (Emergency Response & Awareness Conference) je regionalni pilotni projekt IPO, katerega namen je postati letni regionalni dogodek ozaveščanja, kjer lahko strokovnjaki iz nacionalnih varnostnih in intervencijskih služb, strokovnjaki iz civilnega sektorja ter širša javnost izmenjajo izkušnje, predstavijo svoja stališča in se seznanijo kako ravnati v takšnih primerih.
Introduction
In today's world we are witnesses of increased violence due to various facts such as racial, ethic, religious intolerance or simply as a result of everyday bullying.
We believe that such incidents can be prevented and minimizing the number of victims by raising the awareness and by learning more on how to efficiently and properly response to such events.
The ERAC (Emergency Response & Awareness Conference) is a Regional Pilot Project by the IPO, that aims to become annual regional awareness event, where experts from governmental security & response services, professionals from civil sector and greater public can exchange experience, present their views and learn how to deal with such a cases.
O dogodku ERAC 2023
Konferenca je zasnovana tako, da obravnava trenutne izzive na področju globalne varnosti in zaščite s posebnim poudarkom na prvem odzivu na nasilje z množičnimi žrtvami. Vse to dosežemo z analizo primerov in najboljšimi praksami.
Letošnja tema je "Odziv na nasilje, roparski terorizem in incidente z množičnimi žrtvami". Takšni napadi so žal postali pogostejši v sodobni družbi, saj so posledica številnih razlogov, od ustrahovanja v šoli ali na delovnem mestu do terorizma.
Ogledali si bomo študije in analize primerov prvih posredovalcev, zasebnih in vladnih, ter rešitve in odzive najboljših praks o tem, kako se soočiti s takšnimi grožnjami. To bodo predstavil strokovnjaki iz različnih področij, kot so: policija in žandarmerija, specialne enote, nujna medicinska pomoč, protiterorizem, zasebno varovanje, umetna inteligenca, akademiki, video analitika, množično obveščanje v sili in komunikacijski strokovnjaki.
About the ERAC 2023
The conference is designed to address the current challenges in global safety & security with a specific focus on first responding to violence and mass casualty events. All this is achieved through case analysis and best practice.
This year’s topic is “A Response to Violence, Marauding Terrorism, and Mass Casualty Incidents”. Such attacks have unfortunately become more common place in modern society as products of a multitude of reasons ranging from School or Workplace Bullying through to Terrorism.
We will look at Case Analysis Studies from the first responders, both private and governmental as well Best Practice Solutions and Responses on how to deal with such threats. This will be presented by SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) from various backgrounds such as: Police and Gendarmerie, Special Forces, Emergency Response Services, Counter Terrorism, Private Security, Artificial Intelligence, Academics, CCTV Video Analytics, Emergency Mass Notification and Communication Experts.
The ERAC Key Speakers
is researcher and a security consultant specialized on terrorism, violent extremism and mass shooting response. As a First Lieutenant in the French National Gendarmerie Reserve, he has trained up to eighty different Tactical Units on various issues, in both France and the United States. He also works as an expert for the Versailles Fire Department and is the author of two books and over a dozen articles (available in French and English) in France, the United States and Germany.
